CAPPADOCIA NIGHTS

Without exception, every photographer admires to make a long exposure of the stars. Have you ever experienced it just for yourself? Or, let’s come to the main point, have you ever tried it in a magical place, like Cappadocia! According to some whisperings nights of Cappadocia is ten thousand times better than its days! Billions of stars with a fantastic view of Cappadocia’s World-famous Fairy Chimneys? This Star Exposure Tour is a huge opportunity to try it and create images like this.

During the long exposure workshop, we will photograph stars and maybe some naughty clouds! We will choose a location within walking distance to the city to escape the city lights so we can see more stars in the sky. The time of the workshop will change according to the group’s dynamics. It would be 2 hours minimum or until the morning.

PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOPS AT CAPPADOCIA NIGHT TOURS

On a small part of the workshop, our tour leader will flesh out the techniques of the long exposure to make preparations. Also, once the shooting process over, he will show how to edit these photographs, how to make a video from these photographs to share on social media on your YouTube Channel or on Instagram!

You will learn more than just star exposure on this workshop! Generally, in photography 1 second or more considered as long exposure. So, learning the techniques of long exposure will help you to create new compositions of different moving objects such as people, animals or other natural features. So, you will obtain years of experience just in a few hours! Even you will be able to apply some of the techniques for sunset and daytime photographs!

What will we need?

  • A camera with manual settings of course
  • A tripod that peg our camera
  • A remote controller to take photos without touching camera
  • Wide angle lens so we can see all the stars
  • And the essential; patience of course!

Also don’t forget to bring your bug spray and maybe you want to drink some whisky to protect you from the coldness!
