NOMADS’ VALLEY

The Kyrgyz people (also spelt Kyrghyz or Kirghiz) are a Turkic ethnic group that lives in several parts of Central Asia, primarily Kyrgyzstan. Because of some political reasons Turkey open its doors to them. Now some of them live in Turkey for years, but they still maintain their traditions about every field, from their foods to their clothes even to huge marquees we only can see in movies!

Kyrgyz Village, which will enable you to live in Central Anatolia from centuries ago in the middle of modern Anatolia. In this settlement, which is located within the city borders of Yozgat, we will see a tradition in which only Kyrgyz Turks live and try to sustain. Many films and series mentioned this old lifestyle of Turkish people for years in the world. In this tour, you will get the chance to live this old tradition by yourself like in a film set. 

Because of the migrant settler lifestyle of old Turkish people, they needed some temporary places to stay. That’s why they were building these huge marquees on their way of immigration. Today Kyrgyz Turks still build these marquees. On the steps of Yozgat, they still continuing the old lifestyle with these marquees, traditional clothes, old Gokboru games and with their very special and delicious cuisine culture. It will be like you take a time travel to Central Asia for hundreds of years ago. Imagine a man, who lives in his marquee, wearing traditional clothes, still using horses for transportation and using iPhone for communication!

Also, for photographers or just who love to take photographs, we will be able to photograph the horse riders’ traditional clothing in front of the marquees made by the skins of the goats and the portraits of the Kyrgyz people inside the huge and traditional marquees. In addition, photographing horses and horsemen running in front of these huge tents at sunset gives you the opportunity to add a subject to your photo library that cannot be found elsewhere!

DAY 2

- Transition to Cappadocia (1 hour away from Kayseri)
- Landscape and balloons photographing at the sunrise
- Check in to new hotel (Cave Hotels)
- Breakfast and a little rest time
- Transition to Salt Lake (About two hours)
- Lunch in a restaurant in Aksaray (Special Turkish Steak)
- Photographing horses or other special subjects like ballerina or model on the lake with their reflections at the sunset (3-4 horses)
- Dinner in a way station (Free to choose from the menu)
- Return to Cappadocia
- Back to the hotel
- Star exposure workshop at the best points of Cappadocia if desired.

- Photographing the balloons, horses and horseman in different places at the sunrise in Cappadocia, Swords Valley and Love Valley
- Breakfast at the hotel
- A little rest time
- Transition to Yozgat, Kyrgyz Village
- Lunch with special Kirgiz Cuisine in the tent (Special Cuisine of Central Asia)
- Photographing Kirgiz Village and the local cultural life of people

- Photographing the balloons, horses and horseman in different places at the sunrise in Cappadocia, Swords Valley and Love Valley
- Breakfast at the hotel
- A little rest time
- Transition to Yozgat, Kyrgyz Village
- Lunch with special Kirgiz Cuisine in the tent (Special Cuisine of Central Asia)
- Photographing Kirgiz Village and the local cultural life of people
- Photographing horses and horseman with cultural clothes in front of the marquees
- Transition to Cappadocia
- Special Turkish entertainment (with music, dance etc. mixed Turkish cuisine)
- Accommodation

- Landscape and balloons photographing at the sunrise
- Breakfast at the hotel
- A little rest time
- Transition to Salt Lake (About two hours)
- Lunch in a restaurant in Aksaray (Special Turkish Steak)
- Photographing horses or other special subjects like ballerina or model on the lake with their reflections at the sunset (3-4 horses)

- Return to Cappadocia
- Back to the hotel

DAY 5

- Photographing sunrise with landscapes if desired.
- Breakfast at the hotel and check out from hotel
- Transition to some horse farms in Cappadocia, to shoot some horse portraits
- Transition to Kayseri
- Lunch with Kayseri cuisine (Altınsaray Pöç, a special meat recipe)
- Transition to Hürmetçi Village Yılkı Horses
- Photographing 300 Yılkı Horses at the sunset
- Departure from Kayseri Airport (after 8.00PM)

DAY 3

- Breakfast at the hotel and check out
- Transition to Cappadocia (1 hour away from Kayseri)
- Check in to new hotel and a little rest (Cappadocia Cave Suits)
- A little trip around the district (Ürgüp, Göreme and Avanos)
- Lunch (Aravan Evi Restaurant - Special Pottery Meals of Cappadocia)
- Continue to trip of district
- Photographing Cappadocia views with camels as model
- Dinner (Dayının Yeri Restaurant – Special meat of Turkish cuisine)
- Return to hotel
- As an option, star exposure with fairy chimneys of Cappadocia

- Transition to the real pottery workshops
- Panaromic photo shootings at the sunset

- Back to the hotel

07.

DAY 7

- Photographing sunrise with landscapes if desired.
- Breakfast at the hotel and check out from hotel
- Transition to some horse farms in Cappadocia, to shoot some horse portraits
- Transition to Kayseri

NOTES AND CONDITIONS

• Nuri Çorbacıoğlu Journey to Anatolia Photo Tours have the right of change the program content according to weather conditions, road conditions and unintentional adverse situations.

• In case of the tour cannot fill the minimum quota, the tour will be canceled, the participants will be informed about the cancel and the attendance fee will be pay back.

• Hotels could change because of the sessions or different reasons. But the quality of the hotels and services always will be standard.

CANCELLATION AND RETURN CONDITIONS

• In the event that the traveler puts up a termination notice due to the compulsory conditions 30 days before the tour starts, we shall refund to the traveler the amount of the tour charges after deduction of the amount pertaining to expenses, compulsory taxes, duties and similar legal obligations and non-refundable documented payments to the third parties.

• 50% of the tour package fee will be refunded for cancellations made 30 days or less, If the cancellation is made 7 days or less before the tour date, the entire package fee will not be refunded. Travel insurance cancellation conditions apply.
